Our Pastor

Rev. John Fender has served in Pooler for over three years. He was born in Jesup, GA, spent most of his life in Glynn County, graduated from Mercer University with a business degree, then managed his father's grocery business on Jekyll Island for four years. He attended Covenant Theological Seminary and then the Lord called him to serve as a pastor in Marion, AL for three years. In 2005 he moved to Pooler to help start the First Presbyterian Church of Pooler.

 Our Administrative Assistant

Temple Fennell recently moved to Pooler from Brunswick with her husband, Brad, and 2 children, Conner and Bellamy. She is a graduate of Virginia Tech and is from Salem, Va. She has a Bachelor of Science in Textiles and Clothing. As a child she was a competitive figure skater and has worked in the shoe, fitness, and weight loss industry.

Nate Warfield is employed at Gulfstream and serves as a Deacon as well as directing music.  He is pictured here with his wife, Jill, and daughter Keira.
